No 3.5mm headphone jack in OnePlus 6T?
OnePlus CEO Carl Pie recently told in an interview that they are trying to get rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack in their upcoming flagship-smartphone and deep inside, we all know which is their upcoming flagship smartphone. So, there are many speculations regarding there will no 3.5 mm headphone jack. There are many users who still prefer to listen to songs with the audio jack and now that the new OnePlus smartphone will not have any of it, there will be a huge impact on this. But in a meeting, we came to know that the One Plus 6T would have USB- Type C Bullet headphones which means the problem is resolved.
Why Smartphone manufacturers are getting rid of 3.5mm headphone jack?
Well, there can be many reasons why smartphone manufacturers are getting rid of the audio jack, but according to me, these could be some of the reasons:
1. If 3.5mm headphone jack is removed, the smartphone would be much slimmer than before. And nowadays no one likes thick smartphones.
2. If your smartphone is slimmer, then it would also be less bulky which is another plus point.
3. Removing 3.5mm headphone jack doesn't mean they are removing a feature. Instead, it means they are progressing towards a new technology for which we all should come together and support them.
Is it a smart move by OnePlus?
OnePlus is breaking all the stereotypes by providing us with something at such a cheap price which no other smartphone manufacturer could do. And this time, they are thinking from their design perspective of how OnePlus 6T could be better in designs. And now that we know OnePlus would launch USB Type-C Bullet earphones, the problem is almost resolved. So, we can say this is all a smart move by OnePlus.
