Oppo Realme 2 Camera Performance

Realme 2 has a set of dual rear cameras with 13MP (f/1.8 aperture lens) and a secondary 2MP (f/2.4 aperture lens) which is specially used for depth sensor. The performance of the rear camera is quite good in daylight but as we move to the night light or artificial lighting conditions, Realme 2 fails to deliver the performance. The bokeh effect is on fire as it focuses on the subject and improves the quality through a software bokeh effect.

The final image processed is what it's camera is known for. For me, at this price range, Oppo Realme 2 has the best camera.

Now, talking about the front camera, it is an 8MP shooter with software bokeh effect as well. Oppo has really paid a lot of attention in designing the camera portion which we don't usually see in the mid-range smartphones.

Oppo Realme 2 Gaming Review

After talking a lot about its Camera performance, now let's move on to the gaming review. Oppo Realme 2 has an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 as the GPU. I would say Oppo could have done better with the processor because this is a 2-year old processor.

I have played games like PUBG Mobile. At the starting, the game ran very smoothly but as I progressed further, I noticed some frame drops and lags which irritated me a lot. But, when I changed the graphics settings to low resolution, the game ran smoothly again. You can't expect to play heavy games in high resolution at all. Also, there were some heating issues due to which you can't play heavy games for a longer time.

However, small games like Subway Surfers can be played anytime, for a longer time without any difficulties.

So, this was my camera performance review and gaming review for Oppo Realme 2. If you have more doubts, let me know in the comments section so I can resolve this.
