Top 5 Smartphones you should buy instead of a Gaming console

Top 5 Smartphones you should buy instead of a Gaming console

Nowadays, we are all surrounded by electronic gadgets whether they are smartphones, gaming consoles, Televisions, Laptops or anything. But if you are a hardcore gamer and you are planning to buy a gaming console like Xbox or PS4, then I need you to draw all your attention on this blog as we will be talking about the top 5 smartphones which you can buy instead of a gaming console.

The reason why I’m promoting smartphones is that gaming consoles are restricted to only gaming whereas you could perform thousands of functions from smartphones. If you have a lot of money, you can go for both but if you have got a choice, then you should opt for smartphones and play the best games. There are also many ways by which you can play PlayStation games by installing a PSX emulator. So, here is my list of top 5 smartphones which you should buy instead of a gaming console:

1. OnePlus 6

OnePlus 6 tops the list here as it is a flagship smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB RAM. This device will cost you around Rs. 36000 (approx. $500) and you could probably play every single Android game on this device without any lag or frame drop. You can even play PlayStation games by installing a PSX emulator and I know it will run fine and smooth. So, why should you buy a gaming console when you are getting OnePlus 6 at the same price and you could play any game on it? Rest, the choice is on you.

2. Samsung Galaxy Note 9

The second device that comes to my mind is the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 as it has a big screen size of 6.5 inches which is even bigger than any handheld PlayStation gadget. As you know, it is a flagship device from Samsung and Samsung is a brand on which you can trust blindly. You can play almost any game on this device and if you are a hardcore gamer, you would not be disappointed at all. You can get Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for about $700 which is a fair price for a flagship smartphone.

3. Honor Play

After having talked about the flagship smartphones, I’m going to list the smartphones which are pocket-friendly which will be more suitable for you all. One such mid-range smartphone is the Honor Play which is not only a pocket-friendly smartphone but also a gaming smartphone. The GPU Turbo is functionality in Honor Play which lets the game run smoothly.

4. Redmi Note 5 Pro

Redmi Note 5 Pro is also a mid-range smartphone and a good alternative for Gaming consoles. There is an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 540 GPU which boosts the game performance. I have played many heavy games on Redmi Note 5 Pro like PUBG, Asphalt 8, etc and noticed no frame drops. This is a great choice if your budget is low.

5. Honor 9N

The last smartphone that comes to this list is a smartphone is the cheapest of all the smartphones that we have talked about today. The device is available only for Rs. 12999/- (approx $220) and contains Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC which can accommodate heavy games including PUBG. This can be a great choice if you are planning to buy a gaming smartphone with the low budget.

So, these were the top 5 smartphones which you can buy instead of wasting your money on Gaming consoles. Let me know your thoughts about these smartphones as well in the comments section.
