With Samsung throwing enough hints, it seems that we can expect the next launch to happen anytime and if we are to believe some of the rumors, then it is going to happen in May so we would not have to wait longer than just a few weeks. With leaked videos, pictures and rumors doing the rounds, we already have a good idea of what Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6 pus brings to the table so let’s take a closer look at it, shall we?
From what we can make out, both Samsung’s A6 and A6 plus comes with super AMOLED display with A6 encapsulating the following dimensions, 149.9 x 70.8 x 7.7 mm. The A6 plus is slightly larger and comes with a 6 inch screen with these dimensions 160.2 x 75.7 x 7.9. They both come with a dual sim option; neither the A6 nor A6 PLUS do not seem to weigh that much and as a result, manage to look sleek and elegant. Both the instruments feature Samsung pay, which should make it all the more convenient for those looking for an easy payment portal.
Samsung’s A6 comes with a 5.6 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. The display unit comes with 720 x 1480 pixels and a 18.5:9 aspect ratio; the instrument features high resolution which should be an improvement on earlier Samsung models. With a high resolution, multi-touch touchscreen, and an enhanced user experience, the A6 should definitely be an improvement over some of the other Samsung models. It’s larger counterpart, A6 PLUS comes with 1,080x2,220 resolution so should provide for a sharper, clearer image with much better resolution than most mobiles.
The A6 is alleged to feature Exynos 7870 Octa chipset along with Octa-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 for the CPU; naturally with this hardware, one can expect the phone to be quite fast and comes with a micro SD slot capacity of 256 GB. It also features 3GB for the standard version and 4GB ram for the premium version along with internal storage of 32 GB and 64 GB respectively. The A6 plus runs on 1.8 GHz octa-core processor but with the same RAM and internal storage as the A6, with nary a difference. Both the instruments are powered by android 8.1, and we will have to wait till the launch date to ass
Both Samsung A6 and A6 plus features dual cameras; with the primary one at 16 MP (f/1.7) with phase detection autofocus, along with LED flash. We would be able to gauge the effectiveness of the camera only after its launch but from what we can make out so far, this smartphone comes with geo tagging, touch focus which should make it convenient to take pictures with it. Apart from this, the phone also comes with auto focus, face detection, panorama and HDR. The A6 plus comes with additional special effects including blurring.
The phone features active sound cancellation speakers along with Dolby Atmos sound for the headphones.
Connectivity: Both the smartphones are compatible with all mobile platforms and features Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, Wi-Fi direct and more of the same. With advanced connectivity options, it makes it easier to connect online with this smartphone. It also features Bluetooth 4.2 along with GPS, NFC, FM radio and USB 2.0 reversible connector.
A6 comes with a non-removable Lion 3000 mAh battery; in other words if you feel the need to change the battery, then you would have to head over to the Samsung service station and get the same done there. But the A6 plus packs in more power with 3500 mAh, and should certainly perform better than the A6.
Both Samsung’s A6 and A6 plus come in various colors such as black, gold, blue as well as Lavender. Apart from this, the phone also features fingerprint sensor, along with Gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass.
These are some of the main features of Samsung A6 and A6 PLUS that we had compiled from various resources, please check out the same and you should have a better idea on what to expect with the next product launch. The good thing about Samsung is that they always make a concentrated effort to improve on their earlier models so you can look forward to a more enhanced user experience with Samsung A6.
