Well, if you don't know what Hard Reset is, let me tell you in a very easy way. When you remove all the data and settings from your smartphone, the process involved is known as Hard reset and unfortunately, you can't rollback this change. Therefore, it is always advised to perform Hard Reset by full information and proper backup. But at the good side, Hard Reset is also helpful in deleting all the settings from the smartphone. So, here I'm going to tell you 2 simple ways how you can hard reset your Hono 9 Lite.

Method 1 includes resetting from the recovery mode or Method 2 involves from the settings menu. I have talked enough about both these methods. So, let's start away:

How to perform a Hard reset on Huawei Honor 9 Lite

Method 1: Recovery mode

  1. Power off your device
  2. Press and hold power button and volume button until recovery mode appears
  3. Use volume buttons to highlight ‘wipe data/factory reset’ and use power key to select it
  4. Reboot the system once the process is completed


Method 2: using settings menu

  1. Open settings
  2. Scroll down and tap on system
  3. Tap on Reset
  4. Choose factory reset
  5. Confirm when prompted
  6. Wait until the device reboots itself
