Some Glimpse of One Plus 5 which will be launched soon

After some successful launches, One Plus will again be launched soon to crash the markets. From our sources, OnePlus 5 will be announced on June 20 globally. That event will be followed by local introductions in China on June 21 and India on June 22. While the date of the unveiling for India got out earlier today, we now also know when you should expect to be able to buy a unit in the subcontinent.

Announcement for OnePlus 5:

  • It turns out that the OnePlus 5 will go on sale on the same day - June 22, that is.
  • The announcement is at 2 PM and sales will start at 4:30 PM.
  • This information comes from Amazon India, which will be the exclusive retail partner for the handset over there.

Things we might Expect in OnePlus 5:

Since, the company has already made the teaser out for the corresponding OnePlus 5, so many things can be concluded upon this:

  • OnePlus 5 will be coming with 8GB RAM, which might be one of the best smartphones to have maximum RAM size.
  • Since, it is not the first phone to come with such high Snapdragon 835 processor, but still, latest technology, that's what's more important.
  • It would also contain approximately 64GB internal memory.
  • Many rumors have mentioned this memory capacity, and now it's sort of confirmed - though not officially, yet. That said, expect there to be a cheaper 6GB model offered as well.
  • It would also contain Dual Lens camera.
  • OnePlus indicated it had reorganised its software team to better deal with development of Oxygen OS, its version of Android.

Look, Design of OnePlus 5:

  • The OnePlus 5 will look a lot like the iPhone 7 Plus, at least on its back.
  • It's expected to have a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, and its overall footprint should be smaller than that of its predecessor, the OnePlus 3T.

Expected Price Tag for OnePlus 5:

As with its previous phones, OnePlus is expected to charge far less for the OnePlus 5 than the likes of Samsung or HTC, whose devices typically retail for around £600+ (approx 50341Rs). The OnePlus 3, which came equipped with a then brand new Snapdragon 820, launched at a mere £330.
