How to Enable Google Pixel 2 AR Stickers on OnePlus 3/3T, Nexus 6P and Xiaomi Mi 5

The advancement of technolgies have been implemented in such a way that User Interface has to look good for user impression. That's where the need of AR and VR stickers are needed. The flagship smartphones by Google which were launched this year, i.e Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL have introduced AR and VR stickers which are new cool. But the old flagship smartphones of 2016 does not have this feature directly. So, in this blog I will tell you all directly how to enable AR Stickers in Nexus 6P, OnePlus 3/3T, Xiaomi Mi 5 and other smartphones as well:

 

 

How to enable Google Pixel 2 AR Stickers on OnePlus 3/3T and Xiaomi Mi 5

To install all the AR stickers, you would need to download multiple files and XML files as well which are described as below. Since, I have provided links to download, you need not download these files and apps from anywhere else.

  1. AR Core
  2. AR Stickers
  3. Buildpop Editor
  4. calibration_cad.xml
  5. Google Camera

To enable AR Stickers, here are some guided steps:

  1. Download and Install all these apps
  2. Move the downloaded calibration_cad.xml file to "/system/etc"
  3. Open the Buildpop Editor app
  4. Tap on the edit icon
  5. Add 'ro.config.calibration_cad=/system/etc/calibration_cad.xml' at the end of the file and Save
  6. Now open the installed Google Camera app and open AR Stickers. It's easy!

 

How to enable Google Pixel 2 AR Stickers on Nexus 6P

To enable AR Stickers on Nexus 6P, you need to download some files and apps as mentoned below. You don't need to download them from anywhere else as I have provided the link here only.

  1. AR Core
  2. AR Stickers
  3. Buildpop Editor
  4. More Shortcuts App

To enable AR Stickers, follow these steps:

  1. Download and Install all these apps as described above
  2. Open the Buildpop Editor app
  3. Find the entries ro.build.product, ro.product.name, ro.product.device, ro.product.model, and make all of them equal marlin
  4. Reboot your Nexus 6P
  5. Open the More Shortcuts App
  6. Open Activity
  7. Find AR Stickers and Tap it to expand
  8. Tap on AR Stickers main activity
  9. Add the shortcut on your main screen
  10. Now use the shortcuts to enable AR Stickers
