Sony to launch its upcoming flagship smartphone Sony H8541

Sony has already launched their flagship smartphones like Sony Xperia XZ and Sony Xperia XZ Premium but they were not very successful and all the hardwork of Sony has got into vain. Now, Sony is planning to launch another smartphone which would have flagship specifications on paper, and try to count things in smartphone industry. To recall, Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XZ flopped by a big margin. Sony is best known for mid-ranged smartphones but they have to get out of the box and make something more interesting. So, let's see what Sony H8541 will possibly have under the hood.

Sony H8541 Leaked/ Rumored Specifications

  • 5.7 inches 4K UHD TRILUMINOS Display (3840x2160 pixels)
  • X-Reality and Corning Gorilla Glass Protection
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Quad-core processor
  • Android Oreo
  • 4 GB RAM
  • IP68 Certification (water/dust resistant)
  • NFC
  • MIMO, 4G VoLTE
  • Bluetooth v5.0
  • 3420 mAH battery with Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0

Sadly, there are no possible specifications for Sony H8541 camera and that's what Sony could push up. I hope the camera would also be flagship like its flagship specifications. I agree to these leaked specifications but somewhere I feel 4 GB RAM would be insufficient and they would have to increase to 6/8 GB RAM. Also, the Internal storage could be 64/128 GB as well. Right now, these things were not listed in this leaked section.

Sony H8541 Launch Date and Availability

The Sony H8541 is scheduled to launch around the time of MWC in February, while the Snapdragon 845 will be available to other brands only after Samsung launches its S-series flagship. Thus, it is also interesting to see whether Sony tries for Snapdragon 845 SoC or make this smartphone work even in Snapdragon 835 SoC.
