Recently, OnePlus 5T has been launched with major changes and now it is looking damn awesome. The most important thing of all here is the price range of 5T has been kept same as OnePlus 5. Now, the users of OnePlus 5 are complaining a lot about this thing and they are asking for a rebait here. Now, we are here to compare both of these smartphones based on their technologies, specifications and let you decide which one you should go for. So, let's start and compare OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T:
Whatever you say but OnePlus has changed a lot of display settings in OnePlus 5T and trust me it is looking better. OnePlus 5 has screen size of 5.5 inches but here in 5T, the screen size is increased to 6 inches. Also, the resolution of OnePlus 5 is 1080 x 1920 pixels but in OnePlus 5T, the resolution is upgraded on 1080 x 2160 pixels. One of the best thing that OnePlus has done to 5T is they have made is FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio. So, the smartphone's display is improved a lot. I will give points here to OnePlus 5T only.
The camera department has also improved a lot for OnePlus 5T as now they have both the rear cameras, viz. 16 MP and 20 MP with f/1.7 aperture with Sony IMX 398 sensor which is defined to take wonderful shots in portrait mode and low lighting mode. To recall, One Plus 5 has 16MP with simple lens and other 20MP telephoto lens for optical zoom so that you can take images in bokeh effects. But still, the camera is lot more improved in OnePlus 5T, thus winning again from OnePlus 5.
Well, the design is also a major issue but it's totally based on user's choice. Tradional OnePlus 5 has fingerprint sensor on its front with 16:9 aspect ratio whereas OnePlus 5T has 18:9 aspect ratio and fingerprint sensor on its back.
I won't conclude further as I'm not going to take any smartphone's side by its design as every user has their own choices. But if you ask me personally, I don't want fingerprint sensor at the back as you have to touch your finger again and again at the back. If its in front, it is easily reachable.
Many of you might not have noticed yet but OnePlus 5T is a bit bulky with 162 gms whereas OnePlus 5 is only 153 gms. Usually, you will not see the difference but if you hold your smartphone for many hours, it may creata a problem. Also, I don't know why OnePlus 5T is bulky inspite of same battery and hardware. Bad Engineering at its peak here
Since the price of both these smartphones are same, so it is wiser if you opt for OnePlus 5T as it has better hardware and software support. Also, OnePlus confirmed that you will get stable Android Oreo update till January 2018.
