Xiaomi has recently launched Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite as there camera smartphones to fight against Oppo-Vivo and Gionee. But the problem is they have launched two smartphones and both are in budget range, so they have radiated the specifications so the users can easily decide which one to choose. Frankly speaking, both the smartphones are equally wonderful but the problem comes depending for who is using. So, since it was getting very difficult to decide which one to choose so, I personally selected both smartphones and compared them and here are the following results:
Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite has Snapdragon 425 processor. Both the processors are equally good, so you need not worry about the processors. Although, Redmi Y1 has an edge over it. But seriously, this change is minute and you can easily neglect this fact.
Also, Redmi Y1 has 3GB RAM whereas Redmi Y1 Lite has only 2GB RAM. So, if you're buying this smartphone to play the games, I would recommend you to buy Redmi Y1 as the games won't lag at all.
Rear and Front Camera:
Now comes the one of the biggest thing which Xiaomi has portrayed in there launch event. The rear cameras of both these smartphones are 13 MP shooter for clicking awesome images. However, Redmi Y1 has 16MP Front Selfie Camera shooter which is clearly winning the race all over Redmi Y1 Lite as it has only 5 MP camera. So, if you're a selfie freak and take a lot of selfies. I prefer you to go for Redmi Y1
Almost every Xiaomi smartphone has an Infrared sensor which has become a trademark for Xiaomi. But you would feel deeply regret to know that Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite doesn't have Infrared Sensor. So, if you've habit of switching on your televisions with your smartphones, Here you have to go for Redmi Y1
This is the section which makes a lot when you go out to buy smartphone. Xiaomi Redmi Y1 for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage would cost you Rs.8999 and for 4GB/64GB would cost you Rs.10,999. But if you really want to buy this smartphone at an Most valuable price, go for 32GB variant as it is best.
However, you can still opt for Redmi Y1 Lite for just Rs.6999 but there you would not get the above detailed specifications. Overall, it is wonderful smartphone and it is really interesting to see what your choices are.
